The Best Western Woodlands Hotel is nestled near Dundee, in a well-established residential area close to the seaside town of Broughty Ferry. The country house style hotel is only a 15 minute drive from Dundee itself, railway station and Dundee Airport, which makes life even easier when you're here on a relaxing short break or a long weekend! Set in mature gardens, our delightful hotel (once a prominent manor house!) makes an ideal location for either business or pleasure. The onsite leisure facilities provide the perfect place to relax too, with a lovely pool, steam room and Jacuzzi. If you're feeling energetic there's a fully equipped gym to burn off that excess energy! The hotel is also a renowned favourite meeting place, with a welcoming restaurant serving an extensive menu full of local specialities. Guests can relax and enjoy a coffee or a drink in the comfortable lounge or on the patio area too!

Hotel Update From March 1st 2023 the admittance to the leisure club will be £7.50 per adult and £3 per child (aged 5-16, under 5's are free) for a 24 hour pass. If staying more than 1 night the admittance will be £10 per adult £6 per child for entire stay.

Enjoy our leisure facilities which include a large heated swimming pool, a fully equipped gymnasium, sauna, and steam room. Child Admission Policy Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an Adult at all times within the Swimming Pool. No Children under the age of 10 are permitted in the Spa Bath, Sauna or Steam room. This is for Health and Safety and Relaxation reasons. Children between the ages of 10-15 years old can use the Spa Bath, Sauna and Steam room with the accompany of an Adult. No Customer under the age of 16 is permitted to use the Gym. Customers under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult when using the Cardio and Resistance equipment in the gym. Adult to Child Ratios in Swimming Pool: 1 Child under 5 : 1 Adult 2 Children between 5-10 Years Old : 1 Adult 1-3 Children between 11-15 Years Old : 1 Adult, Adult can spectate if Child is a competent swimmer. 3-4 Children between 5-10 Years Old : 2 Adults Children under the age of 5 must always be accompanied by 1 adult at any given time in the Swimming Pool. 1:1 Ratio The Woodlands Hotel Leisure Facilities are for the purpose of Comfort and Relaxation for all of our customers.
