The woodland course is designed on two levels. Holes 2 to 11 circle the hills and offer fine scenic views, with undulating fairways which provide some interesting lies. The 12th hole is played down from its elevated tee to a double green by the Clubhouse. It's a short dog-leg par 4, and can be driven by the longest hitters. The remaining holes play along the valley, where accurate drives are essential. The 13th hole is a difficult par 5 with a ditch crossing the fairway twice, and the 2nd shot must be positioned with care. The ditch is also a danger on both the approach to the 16th and to any shot left on the short 17th. The 18th is an excellent finishing hole. A good drive to the dog-leg will still leave a long and accurate approach to a well protected green.
